Sometimes life gets so weird you start thinking,
“Wow… I really didn’t expect my spiritual intervention to come from a dog.”
Like you’re sitting there stressed out, doom-scrolling, losing family time, trying to survive systems that feel like they were designed by a committee of malfunctioning fax machines… and then your dog walks up, smacks your phone hand with his nose, stares at the door, and basically says:
“Hey genius. Go touch grass.
Also, I have to p*e.
Also also, your brain is cooked.”
And honestly?
That might be the most relatable sermon some of us have heard all week.
People say a dog is man’s best friend.
I don’t know.
Sometimes it feels like a dog is God’s little unpaid life coach.
No clipboard.
No app.
No subscription.
No 47-part webinar.
Just:
“Come outside, buddy. You’ve had enough internet.”
That’s part of what inspired a song I wrote called Gold Collar Gospel.
It’s not perfect.
But neither are we.
That’s kind of the point.
It’s about the difference between two worlds:
📱 the old economy, where every scroll somehow makes you feel behind, broke, late, guilty, or all four before lunch
🐕 and a brand new Rescue Reserve economy, where the things that actually matter still count:
family,
fresh air,
and muddy paw prints all over everything you just cleaned five minutes ago
In one world, the screen keeps asking:
“What do you owe?”
In the other, the dog keeps asking:
“Are you coming or what?”
The music video just dropped, and the song is now on Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes.

Sometimes the Gospel shows up in church.
Sometimes it shows up covered in fur, breathing heavy, looking slightly concerned about your lifestyle.
What if the smallest preacher in your house…had four legs and a wagging tail?“Gold Collar Gospel” is a faith-inspired song about rediscovering peace, family,...
