Policy Guidance Network Policy Guidance Network is a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of Texas.

Policy Guidance Network (PGN) seeks to help nonprofits further their mission statements by providing public policy assistance, research, data collection, and grantwriting when they do not have the resources to provide these services within a member-based cooperative. PGN maintains a member-based cooperative and will provide the aforementioned services to those members on request. PGN will also sol

icit research projects from the members within the cooperative and make the research public for all members within the cooperative. PGN is trained and able to conduct surveys and collect data on behalf of organizations provided the project has an intrinsic social, economic, demographic, or other research-based value. PGN is trained and able to create new or evaluate existing public policy initiatives for member organizations. In addition, PGN is trained and able to assist member organizations in fundraising, grantwriting, and other development tasks to enable them to reach their potential.

For those is the Dallas area that have some free time during the day:

Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance is in need of volunteers to assist with the data entry of the "Point in Time Count" surveys.

Below are the dates available for volunteering. Persons with PC and Windows experience plus the ability to enter data accurately are needed. Also, it is important that you are available for the entire three-hour session for which you register.

This year, data entry will be completed at the MDHA office located at 2816 Swiss Ave., Dallas, TX 75204. Parking is located in the Auxiliary Parking lot located at the corner of Texas & Floyd Streets.

Pretty neat organization I recently learned about! Works to deliver essential items to homeless children in our area. Consider a gift or donation!

Captain Hope’s Kids has one goal in mind, to help those who cannot help themselves, children. Through the collection of donations, supplies and fundraisers, we intend to give homeless children their best chance at living a normal life.

I'm please to announce that the Policy Guidance Network is now a registered non-profit corporation with the State of Texas.

I'm looking forward to continuing to work with our local and vibrant non-profit sector.
