With the Dallas Arts District Pride Block Party falling on June 19th this year, the event is intentionally recognizing the national and historical importance of Juneteeth, the national holiday marking the news of emancipation reaching Galveston, Texas in 1865.

Performing again this year, at The Nasher, is queer-fronted Cure for Paranoia, the winner of this year's Tiny Desk Contest. 🥇🎤
