We just received the final word, this year's parade is officially canceled.

The move was made by city officials in consultation with the CDC and the Dallas County Health Department. The parade was scheduled to take place on Saturday.

It's scholarship season and this year G.A.A.B.A. was able to help more than ever before. Both The Official: Dallas St. Patrick's Parade and Savor Mexico were uber successful with their fundraising efforts and the combined results allowed G.A.A.B.A. to raise and donate an amazing $45,000.00! The students who are pictured here with our board members were very happy with the assistance and very optimistic about the future. Here's to breaking this new record next year!

Great press conference this morning. The mayor joined the GAABA Board to say we should all drink a little Irish whiskey on Saturday. Our president addressed the crowd and told everyone about our "Text to Donate" program. To date GAABA has awarded $150,000 in scholarships to DISD seniors to help them further their education. Our goal is $40,000 and we feel that if everyone who attends the parade were to give just $1 we could definately blow our goal out if the water and change some lives. Hope to see y'all on Saturday.

Parade Family, its with extreme honor to announce the 2019, 40th Anniversary of the Dallas St. Patrick's Parade, Grand Marshal to be the one and only Honorable 61st Mayor of Dallas, Michael Scott Rawlings!!!! Pictured below was 6 years ago yesterday, when we officially announced the name change of the Parade to the now "Dallas" St. Patrick's Parade and Festival!
