Despite the rain storm 🌧️ we had a solid turnout for last night’s Annual LGNA Meeting + Happy Hour. Neighborhood love > bad weather.

Big thanks to everyone who came out, connected with neighbors, and joined the conversation. We appreciate Councilman Ridley for his remarks on homelessness initiatives and the future plans for City Hall. Warm thanks to for being such fantastic hosts! 🍻

Congrats to our raffle winners with paid LGNA Memberships who walked away with gift cards and our custom iconic LGNA tee: “I came. I saw. I moved to Lower Greenville.” 🎯

Talking trash on Lowest Greenville! 🗑️✨
We have some major wins to share for a cleaner neighborhood:
1️⃣ City Commitment: The public bins between Belmont and Ross are officially moving to a twice-a-week pickup schedule (Tuesdays & Thursdays). No more overflowing bins at Greenville and Sears! 🙌
2️⃣ Partner Support: Shoutout to Madison Partners! Their commercial tenants are installing additional outdoor trash cans at their locations and will be maintaining them personally.
3️⃣ The “Gary” Challenge: Huge thanks to our neighbor Gary, who picks up trash daily from Mockingbird to Ross. Want to help? “Be like Gary”—grab a small bag on your next walk. Even one or two pieces make a difference!
Let’s keep Lowest Greenville looking its best. ☀️🏙️

Carrie Robinson may say she “never wins anything,” but the recent Vickery Boulevard transplant proved otherwise—scoring a $100 gift card to Aw Shucks Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar (3601 Greenville Ave) in our new paid member raffle!

A Dallas native, Carrie and her husband Drew returned after 25 years in Nashville. Both commercial realtors, they’ve been busy sampling local spots—but hadn’t yet made it to Aw Shucks. Now they have the perfect excuse. Crab bites, fried shrimp and oysters, or a classic Po’ Boy? Tough call.

Thanks as well to the 10 other new members who joined during the raffle—welcome aboard!

Everyone living within Mockingbird to Ross and Greenville to Skillman is considered a member of LGNA. But paid members help keep the neighborhood vibrant — supporting social events, beautification efforts, safety initiatives, and more — all for just:

$20/ year per household or $5 for Seniors 65+ households. And it’s tax deductible! Join today www.LGNA.net (link in bio)
