It has been a week of intentional collaboration and learning for the team at NFNL. Chief Programs Officer, Dr. Claudia Davila, and Clinical Director, Regina Fruge, attended the SMU Human Trafficking Data Conference in Dallas, while our CEO, Bianca Davis, represented NFNL at the World Without Exploitation Conference in Washington, D.C. Together, we learned about the impact of building partnerships, and were reminded that courage is contagious.

NFNL is honored to be among the recipients of Communities Foundation of Texas’ anti-trafficking grant initiative. This timely funding support recognizes the collaborative efforts of stakeholders to address the increased risk of human trafficking during the World Cup tournament. Congratulations to all the recipients and thank you CFT for investing in agencies leading lasting change in the fight against human trafficking. Read more here:

🌱 Our Youth Summer Series is officially underway!
This week, Garden Director Kim High helped our YRC members get their hands in the soil and learn the value of growing their own food. Through lessons on gardening, healthy living, and self-sufficiency, each participant had the opportunity to experience the garden journey. We're excited to watch both the plants and our youth members grow, thrive, and bloom throughout the summer. 💚

The recent arrest of a Wylie-area assistant principal for compelling prostitution of a minor highlights the power dynamic that is often present in these cases.

At NFNL, we know that victims are likely to know their perpetrator, which is why education and awareness about grooming and manipulation are critical.

Our team had the opportunity to work alongside PepsiCo employees as they assembled 1,000 snack kits for New Friends New Life members and their families. In addition to these kits, PepsiCo generously provided Gatorade, snacks, hygiene products, and other essential items to support those we serve.
