On the lighter side, it is our opinion that no matter what the situation is when someone reaches out to the Outreach they are in need of some type of help that perhaps we can provide . A few months ago, a young man called. He needed to do some community service for a traffic violation. He worked full-time and could not find a location to do those community service hours. He was honest, kind and respectful about the situation he was in and asking for help. There’s all kind of jobs to do at the Outreach. Some of them are remote. For every meal, we give out a set of silverware and a napkin goes with it. You can put together silverware and napkins, just about anywhere. He came by the Outreach immediately picked up supplies went to work and just kept rolling silverware until, I don’t know how many thousands he had done.
Since that time the same young man has visited the Outreach on multiple occasions to bring huge donations of silverware and napkins to the Outreach for the community that he cares about and lives in. I say community service well done. His latest drop off donation to the Outreach
