Join us for our Broadway Dance Workshops on select Saturday mornings! Each month, we explore choreography and technique inspired by a different Broadway musical and dance style.

For May, we’re exploring a contemporary/jazz piece from the musical, CATS. Any closed toe shoes will work or you are welcome to wear ballet or jazz shoes. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your technique, build confidence on stage, or sharpen your ability to learn choreography for auditions, this workshop is for you. Come dance, sweat, and have fun with us! Limited spots available, so register today!

Psssst - for those doing our summer production of CATS: YAE, this will be super helpful as we will be learning some of the choreography for the show. But all are welcome, ages 10-99!

And for those ages 9-16, we will wrap up the summer by putting on the very popular and powerful production of CATS: YAE! On July 6, we will begin rehearsals and then on the 17th (7pm) and 18th (2pm) these actors and crew will put on a whole production for friends, family and the community!

Our 4 summer productions are almost at capacity, so register today at eastdallasarts.org! Don't miss the chance to participate in a full musical this summer, right in East Dallas! We sometimes can make an exception for age, so email us with questions at [email protected].

After our older actors give everyone a big laugh in Spamalot, we will for sure get a few “awwwwws” with our Jungle Book KIDS musical. In only two weeks, audiences will be blown away at what our 7-12 yrs olds can do! Two performances will take place at the end of this production.

(June 15-27) In the span of two short weeks, older students will audition, rehearse and put on a full production with two performances for family, friends and the community. For those going into high school or college performance or tech programs, those wanting to build confidence and add a show to the resume, or just those who have missed performance or working behind the scenes doing tech, this show is for you!
