Welcome to another exciting school year at The Legendary Lincoln High School. It is truly an honor to serve as your principal and to lead a school community built on a proud legacy of excellence, achievement, and Tiger Pride.

Our theme, “Strength in Unity,” reflects our commitment to working together as students, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners. When we are united in purpose, there is no limit to what our Tigers can accomplish.

Our PTSA President had the privilege of supporting alumnus Jarrett Pryor c/o 26 and Myriah Miller, a rising senior, as they stepped into an extraordinary opportunity this summer.

Over the last five weeks, they have been fully immersed in the Youth Spatial Historian Research Fellowship, a partnership with the Stanford University Accelerator for Learning.

This inaugural fellowship empowered Jarrett and Myiahh to research, document, and spatially map Black history in South Dallas. Their work culminated in Friday’s intergenerational showcase, an event they planned and executed from start to finish with excellence, intention, and deep cultural pride.

This moment is especially significant because they were the only two students selected to represent the rich legacy and living history of The Legendary Lincoln High School a reminder of the brilliance our scholars carry into every space they enter.

The Legendary Lincoln High School and Career Institute East came together in unity for the Convocation and we had an amazing time!

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, celebrate, and kick off the new school year with excitement and purpose. We are proud to share the block, work together, and continue building a strong partnership focused on providing incredible opportunities for our students.
