DALLAS ISD STUDENT EARNS FIRST INTERNATIONAL SOCCER SCHOLARSHIP

Lincoln High School senior Joe Gonzalez will attend the University of Central Lancashire in England this fall while playing for Macclesfield Football Club. The salutatorian is the first in district history to secure such an opportunity.

The Lady Tigers of The Legendary Lincoln High School made history this season through unmatched discipline, dedication, and a commitment to excellence on and off the field. Every athlete carried her weight, pushed through elevated training plans, and showed up because they wanted the success.

As Coach Bell reminds us, “Proper preparation prevents poor performance.” And this season proved it.

We celebrated our state champions alongside The Dallas Weekly, K104 Fm, , and — a true community moment for the South.

But champions aren’t made overnight… and the next season starts now.

🏆 HISTORY MADE AT LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL 🏆

The Lincoln Lady Tigers are officially STATE CHAMPIONS — and record breakers.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Naomi Jones, Aariyah Stanley-Bullock, Sanai Lewis, and Siani Simpson posted a historic time of 45.86 seconds, breaking a Dallas Carter relay record that had stood since 2017 and was part of the era of future world champion Sha’Carri Richardson.

DW sat down with the athletes and Athletic Coordinator Reginald Bell to discuss the hard work, dedication, and discipline that fueled this unforgettable season.

Last night, we had the opportunity to hang out with the kool kids and coaches as we commemorated their historic track season. With the support of the incredible staff (Luke, Makayla, Maria) at Texas Roadhouse and our amazing sponsor — a proud alumnus of The Legendary Lincoln High School Byron Cameron Bailey— we experienced a celebration worthy of champions.

What you see here is a glimpse of how strong communities are built and sustained. On and off campus, our students, teachers, staff, and alumni come together to equip our scholars with the tools they need to reach their fullest potential.
