Recap from Sunday's Sermon
Message Title: IMITATORS OF GOD: THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING

Ephesians 5:1–2
Jesus demonstrated the power of thanksgiving in every season. There are four specific times the lord Jesus expressed gratitude to God.

1️⃣ Gratitude for Acceptance & Rejection
Luke 10:21
Not every open door is a blessing, and not every closed door is a loss. Some open doors are traps, while some rejections are divine protection. Learn to thank God in both acceptance and rejection.

2️⃣ Thanksgiving Before Provision
John 6:4–12
Before feeding the multitude, Jesus gave thanks. Thanksgiving acknowledges God as our Source and makes room for us to recognize His abundance. Everything we need is already provided in Christ. (Eph. 1:3 | 2 Pet. 1:2–3 | John 6: 4-12 | 1 cor 3:21- 23 | Matt 6: 9- 13 | Matt 6: 25 | Colo 1:22 | Num 23:2)

3️⃣ Thanksgiving Before Addressing Lazarus
John 11:41–42
Before Lazarus came out of the grave, Jesus thanked the Father. Thanksgiving is a declaration of faith before the manifestation. We thank God because we know He hears us. 1John 5:14-15

4️⃣ Thanksgiving At The Last Supper
Luke 22:14–21
At the Last Supper, Jesus gave thanks even knowing what was ahead. His gratitude was greater than His pain.

LESSON:
Thanksgiving is not merely a response to what God has done; it is an expression of faith in who God is and what He is yet to do.

Be an imitator of God. Walk in love. Live with gratitude. And learn to thank God before the answer, during the process, and after the testimony.

I declare over your life this week: you are blessed, favored, and divinely protected!

I curse every sickness and affliction at the root, and I rebuke every disease in the name of Jesus!

Every pain, weakness, and attack against your health—cease now in Jesus’ name!

No weapon formed against you shall prosper. You shall walk in divine health, supernatural strength, uncommon favor, and victory!

In Jesus’ mighty name, AMEN!
