Mothers are often the first teachers, caregivers and changemakers in our lives — and around the world, millions continue to overcome challenges to create better futures for their children.

Through the work of the Aga Khan Foundation, more than 51% of those reached through programs are women and children — from mothers gaining access to healthcare and nutrition, to women farmers building climate resilience, to girls receiving quality education and opportunity.

This Mother’s Day, we honor not only the mothers in our own lives, but also the countless mothers worldwide whose strength and hope continue to transform communities every day.

Wishing Our Global Chair for Aga Khan Foundation, His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V the very best for tomorrow’s London Marathon.

Covering 26+ miles (42+ km) and bringing together 40,000–50,000 runners, it stands as one of the six World Marathon Majors—and one of the world’s most iconic races.

This morning he joined the Ismaili Community in London to warm up for the big race! An inspiring moment and a reminder for all of us to get moving.
