We're not meeting tonight at La Madeleine's because we are serving as ushers Saturday at "Bar None," being performed at the Greer Garson Theater on the SMU campus (Hillcrest road.)

Altrusans! Our first service project this (new) year is SATURDAY JUNE 20th supporting the scholarship event the Downtown Dallas Club helps with: Bar None. Funds raised go to deserving law students.

We plan on (optional) dinner beforehand at Ozona Grill, then we'll head to Greer Garson theater on the SMU campus to volunteer from 7 to 8 ish.

Kicking off our new Altrusa year by honoring our Immediate Past President (Elle!) by secretly arranging for our club members to all wear her favorite color (GREEN) and quietly go about our business… until she blurts out, “Did I miss a memo or something - to wear green?!?” Then we all chuckle and go on until the end of the meeting when we ask her what her bucket list is, now that she’ll have so much free time?! And then we fill hers up…with Thank You notes and useful green gifts! 🥳 ❤️


Oh: and we had THREE guests with us; two have filled out applications for membership! 💪🥳😎

Tuesday JUNE 2 is the beginning of our NEW YEAR in Altrusa International of Dallas, Inc.! We’ll kick off our year with a fun SUMMER theme so come ready for a cool 😎 evening. NEW Board members: We will be meeting at 6:15 to approve our 2026-27 Budget. 💪🥳

We had a busy meeting scheduling our service projects for the new 2026-27 Altrusa Year. Sharron brought Guest Miranda and led us in our service discussion.
New Member Alison brought over 50 more Tugs for Patriot Paws; we’d hoped to make 100 at our Conference in Amarillo last month but only got half way (48!) there. Alison offered to take the rest of the fabric home to work on more of the tugs. She is now the Tugmaster 💪(Tugmeister!)🥳😎🎉
