Thank you to the North Texas Coalition Against Human Trafficking for taking a stand and for inviting Reclaim611 to join the Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Advisory Council and the Office of Gay Donnell Willis at City Hall in recognition of Human Trafficking Awareness Month. We are truly grateful to be included in such an important and meaningful space and to stand alongside leaders who are committed to real, lasting change.

To the courageous survivor who shared her story—thank you for your strength, vulnerability, and voice. Your words deeply moved us, and stories like yours continue to fuel our unwavering commitment to stand firm in the fight against human trafficking.

We also extend our sincere congratulations to Allies Against Slavery on their well-deserved award. Your dedication, leadership, and impact in this work inspire so many, and we are grateful for the difference you continue to make for survivors and communities alike.

Human trafficking is the exploitation of children or adults through force, fraud and coercion. Traffickers prey on the most vulnerable people in society and profit from their labor or through commercial s*x work.

Warning Signs of Human Trafficking
🔹Appearing malnourished
🔹Showing signs of physical injuries and abuse
🔹Avoiding eye contact, social interaction and authority figures/law enforcement
🔹Seeming to adhere to scripted or rehearsed responses in social interaction
🔹Lacking official identification documents

Since 2016, the North Texas Coalition Against Human Trafficking (NTCAHT) has presented the Champion of Freedom Award to recognize individuals and organizations making a significant impact in the fight against human trafficking.

This year, we celebrate Lindsey Speed and the dedicated team at Traffick911 for their exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to serving child victims of human trafficking in North Texas.

Huge thanks to Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and the Dallas County Commissioners Court for recognizing January as Human Trafficking Awareness Month.
