January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month 🔹

Human trafficking is the exploitation of children or adults through force, fraud and coercion. Traffickers prey on the most vulnerable people in society and profit from their labor or through commercial s*x work.

Warning Signs of Human Trafficking
🔹Appearing malnourished
🔹Showing signs of physical injuries and abuse
🔹Avoiding eye contact, social interaction and authority figures/law enforcement
🔹Seeming to adhere to scripted or rehearsed responses in social interaction
🔹Lacking official identification documents

Learn the signs, let’s work together to raise awareness and help survivors of human trafficking.
