One goal is improve the quality of life for all young lawyers through a variety of initiatives designed to educate, support, challenge, and entertain our members. A second but equally important goal is to serve the Dallas community through public service projects that young lawyers find meaningful. These projects take many forms, but all of them allow our members to select those community service
opportunities that are most significant to them. The DAYL is composed of young lawyers of diverse racial, ethnic, and gender backgrounds, as well as practice size and areas, including solo and small firm practitioners, large firm practitioners, in-house and government lawyers, and law students. By volunteering their time and talents to organize approximately 150 projects each year and contributing thousands of volunteer hours throughout the year, DAYL members make and benefit from countless contributions to their profession and their community.
