Summer at Lochwood Branch Library

Summer is just around the corner, and Lochwood Branch Library is ready to keep your family busy all summer long!

SMART Summer with Dallas Public Library kicks off next Saturday with a big party at Lochwood (and select other locations), then keeps the energy going with everything from our reading program that rewards kids and adults with free books and other goodies to fun and educational programs for all ages.
Be sure to make the Library part of your summer plans!

After completing 10 discovery activities and 10 create activities, kids earn a free food coupon, up to 2 times over the summer. While supplies last.

Looking for a meaningful summer activity for your kids? Youth can volunteer alongside a parent/guardian or serve with groups like their scout troop, youth group, or school club.

This week is filled with award ceremonies and class parties! Way to go Rams - we are so proud of each of you! You worked hard, cared for each other and your community, and made the world a better place. 💙
Thursday evening is Reinhardt's final PTA meeting of the year.
Friday is spirit day, ahead of a 3 day weekend!
We return on Tuesday May 26th.
Last day of school is Wed. May 27th.

Reminder, all Dallas ISD schools and offices will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.
Students return Tuesday, May 26.

Last call for water and popsicle donations for Field Day.

We need:
* 8oz water bottles
* pre- frozen popsicles (as Field Day is only a couple of days away)

You can bring them by or do a curbside drop off during school drop off/pick up!
