Help a Mother in Need: Support Her Peaceful Home Birth
A courageous mother in our community needs our support! She is expecting her third child and has recently lost her job, making it difficult to cover the costs of her birth. With her due date fast approaching, she is hoping for a peaceful, empowering home birth with For The People Birth Equity —but she needs our help to make it happen.
This mother has experienced two previous births, including an unmedicated labor that resulted in suturing without proper anesthetic. After enduring such a difficult experience, she wants nothing more than to welcome this baby surrounded by love, encouragement, and skilled midwifery care—without fear or trauma.
We are raising $1,000 by April 10, 2025, to cover essential birth services, including:
