It's almost time again for another HOC Home Tour!

Join us Wednesday, September 9th, at the incredible Kessler Theater as we reveal all the amazing places that will be featured! Each one is remarkable in its own right and you will walk away inspired by the collection.

The reveal event promises something for everyone – including pizza and refreshments. And we can't wait to show off our nine houses and two business properties that will be part of the 2026 Fall Home Tour (which takes place Saturday and Sunday, October 24th and 25th, from noon to 5 p.m. each day).

Watch your email in box for your invitation. Admission is free, but registration is required. We're excited!

Calling all District 3, 4 and 8 residents!!!! Please contact your council member. Tell them you DO NOT want them to vote for the FMPC suggested rule changes. Council will be voting on August 26 regarding changing the rules from a Supermajority to just a majority regarding the sell of city real estate!!! FMPC.

This is very critical because those that want to abandoned city hall, sell or give away city hall DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH votes for it to pass. If they change the rule to a simple majority, then they will have enough to pass and then can sell City Hall!!!

We’ve got to find one other vote so this proposed rule change DOES NOT happen!!!

PLEASE HELP IN THIS FIGHT TO KEEP CITY HALL!!!

City of Dallas proposed budget has a 4.73% increase in revenue from property taxes, increasing the budget $65.5 million.

This is where folks like to hide - your tax RATE will go down (.1 of a cent) but your property TAX BILL will go up.

This will keep Dallas with the highest property tax rate of any large city in Texas (except El Paso). This is a big reason we have affordability issues for housing and people/businesses making decisions to go to suburbs where it is much less expensive.
