Anthem Strong Families

Anthem Strong Families We strive to be the Champion for our community by educating, equipping and empowering people. How we do this? Lives change. Be the Champion!

VISION

• We envision a community who understands that families are the building block of our society and the key ingredient to the life and well-being of a child.

• We envision a community who recognizes the enormous impact that families have on the economic and social welfare of our community, including education, crime, poverty, domestic violence, and drug and alcohol abuse.

• We envision a c

ommunity who proactively supports healthy families at every level of government, corporate and civic leadership. Through Education, Collaboration and Mobilization

• Education – We all know that education works. It doesn't matter if it’s about getting through school, learning to drive or learning better skills to get promoted on the job; education and learning skills are key. When couples and individuals learn how to understand and communicate better, work through disagreements, identify their own destructive behaviors and keep their cool when tempers flare, self-esteem increases and good feelings between people increases. With these skills, spouses can continue to build love, parents will become better at helping their children and teens learn how to make good choices for their life. It is education and skills that teach us how to be the Champion for our families and our children.

• Collaboration – By joining forces with individuals, agencies, organizations, local government and businesses, more families are able to receive those skills and utilize them to create loving homes in which to raise their children safely and effectively. Through hundreds of partnerships throughout the Dallas Metroplex, Anthem Strong Family teaches teens, couples and moms and dads “championship skills” for their life.

• Mobilization - It is the time for us, as a community who cares about our quality of life and the conservation of our dollars, to be stirred to action. It is time to mobilize and become a Community of Champions. Each of us can learn to be a Champion: the champion of our marriage, our children, ourselves. You will see the lives of those around you change.

We are so grateful for our partnership with Lone Star Justice Alliance, an amazing organization working to create safer, healthier communities by supporting youth and emerging adults across Texas.

They’ve provided us with these flyers to share upcoming events and resources. We encourage you to take a moment to look them over—and please share them with anyone in your network who may be interested or could benefit💙

✨ Meet James, one of our newest Champion Dad graduates! ✨

From day one, James brought so much encouragement and positivity into the room. He lifted up his fellow dads, reminding everyone that they could keep pushing toward their goals. Alongside finishing the program, he’s now working on something that’s been on his heart for years—writing his book. 📖

At Anthem Strong Families, it’s not just about classes—it’s about building lasting relationships, chasing deferred dreams, and creating a community that celebrates one another’s wins. We’re so proud of James and can’t wait to see where his journey takes him next!

Meet Barbara Pleasant- ASF Champion Mom ⭐

"The learning of communication is a beautiful thing if you let it do its thing. And a thing is to understand each other with respect and grow from the experience." – Barbara Pleasant

Barbara came into our TYRO program ready to grow, and she walked away with more than just new tools—she left with a transformed perspective on her marriage, her role as a partner, and her commitment to her family’s future.

She shares:

“TYRO helped me change my mindset about my marriage. It made me feel my husband’s pain and look at myself. I had been pointing the finger at him for a long time instead of taking accountability for my own wrongdoings in our relationship. Today, I have committed to being a responsible person for myself, my children, my husband, and others. TYRO rules!”

Stories like Barbara’s remind us why we do this work. When you support ASF, you’re not just giving to a program—you’re investing in stronger families, healthier relationships, and brighter futures.
