Two years after the murder of by Minneapolis police officers and the calls for systemic and transformational change to the structures that so often denigrate, disproportionately harm, and devalue Black lives and other marginalized communities remain unanswered.
Far too many Black, Brown and other marginalized people should be alive today. True justice means addressing and dismantling anti-Black racism and white supremacy. We recommit to working alongside our partners and communities to dismantle the roadblocks that impede the progress needed to transform community safety.
