We'll have free hygiene and cleaning supplies for women in our community. Everything is first come, first serve, so we recommend getting there early.

Today is World Mental Health Day. ❤️

A lot of the women we know carry so much. They care for their families, hold everything together, and keep showing up even when they're running on empty. Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that resting means we're falling behind and asking for help means we've failed.

Neither is true.

Taking a break, talking to someone, or telling a friend "I'm not okay" are all ways of taking care of yourself. You deserve that same care you give to everyone else.

If you're struggling today, please reach out to a friend, someone you trust, or someone at The Well. And if you need to talk to someone right now, call or text 988 anytime, day or night.

Check on your people today. And check on yourself too.

Some partners help out. St. Philip's shows up 👏

Thank you to our friends at St. Philip's Episcopal Church - Frisco, TX for spending your Saturday with us. From praying with the women who came through to rolling up your sleeves on projects we'd been putting off, you made a big difference, and we noticed.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 💜

Domestic violence is more common than most people realize. It affects women we know and love, including many of the friends who come through our doors at The Well. It doesn't always leave bruises. Sometimes it looks like control, fear, isolation, or being made to feel small in your own home.

If that's you, please hear this: it's not your fault, and you don't have to figure it out alone. Help is available 24/7, and it's confidential.
