A Note from Coach Marzuola-
Highland Park Wrestlers and families,
Please help spread the word…Highland Park Wrestling facilities are in need of being brought into the 21st century and it can’t be done without the financial help of the Highland Park Wrestling family. Some of you are old enough to remember our first practice area was the turf room in the stadium and we used the JV football locker room to shower and change; many of you remember the current dressing room as a combined practice room/dressing room in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. In 1995 the present day practice room was constructed and the present day dressing room was updated with new carpet, benches, and hand me down lockers from McCullough after it was demolished. Needless to say it is time for an update. The District does not have the money to update locker areas so it’s up to team booster clubs to pick up the slack.
To demonstrate my commitment to helping raise funds for this worthwhile project I earmarked the money generated from this summer’s youth camp (approximately $5000) to be donated to the Highland Park Wrestling Booster Club’s fundraiser.
