Stride KIDZ Canceled Tonight!!

Good afternoon Parentz and Coachez. For the safety of our KIDZ and Coachez, we’re canceling Stride KIDZ tonight due to expected temperatures near 95°F and an expected heat index of 100°F or higher during our run time. We encourage everyone to still find a way to be active tonight indoors or on your own.

Thank you for understanding — please stay cool and safe!

Our 7-12 year olds take off on their last practice of the season.

Good morning Stride KIDZ familiez.

We are officially on our last week of the season and we are so proud of all of our runners.

This week will be different.

Tonight, we will run a distance run. This will be our last full practice so we will be pushing the KIDZ to make sure that they all get a full 3 miles in.

On Thursday, we will have a short and quick 1 mile, followed by a meal provided by stride kids to our KIDZ and familiez.

And finally, this week culminates with our final 5K of the season.

We will see you all tonight!

Good Evening Familiez.

We’ve been working with the park and watching the weather. So far it’s only been raining but the forecast for tonight has just changed to thunderstorms starting at about 5:30 and not ending until after 7.

For safety, we need to cancel tonight’s practice.

Please do everything you can to get your KIDZ to keep moving tonight. Treadmills or a trip to the gym are highly suggested.

We will see you all Thursday night.
