Happy Easter to everyone! The Taste of Hope kitchen was really hopping today! We were down 2 major players in the kitchen, Aubrey and Anne. But our group is full of talent. Today Danny, Mark and Vince stepped up and kept us rolling along.. 595 meals fed our friends today.. Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers! Everyone puts their all into this. Big thanks to our new group of delivery drivers. It sure helps! I love each and everyone of you and I'm very proud of what we accomplish each and every week!

What an awesome day we had in the Taste of Hope kitchen! We had 23 hard working volunteers who put together 705 meals for our friends on the streets. When we arrived behind City Hall, we had a long line of people anxiously waiting for us. Grateful, hungry folks who love our food. My heart is full and happy when I see the smiles and hear the thank you's. This is why we do this!! God is GREAT!!

Our wonderful volunteers got together for another fun day of being with friends and producing 634 meals for our friends on the street. I was also able to distribute socks, gloves, hats and other items that were so generously collected by the Legacy Group. They were all gratefully received. Thank you Legacy Group! These volunteers put their hearts into what they do every week! Thank you Taste of Hope volunteers for ALL you do! God is GREAT!!

We had a great day in the Taste of Hope kitchen on Tuesday! Our volunteers show up every week; work so hard but have fun doing it! This group of friends have the biggest hearts and the most compassion for our friends on the street. Our friends are so appreciative and grateful. We love the hugs, fist bumps and smiles we share with them. We pulled together 670 meals for them this week! God is GREAT!!

Sorry this is a few days late! Tuesday, fabulous Tuesday! A day that 20-25 friends get together to prepare meals for our friends on the streets. Tuesday. We prepared 470 meals in the church kitchen and 220 in one of our Oak Cliff kitchens. All total, we had great meals for 690 of our friends. They were all so grateful! Lots of hugs, blessings yous and thank yous were shared. My heart is full! God is GREAT!! By the way, Danny (in the 1st picture) is single!!

Tuesday is my favorite day of the week! We all gather in the fellowship hall at church. Friendships begin, laughter is always heard and we work hard to help our friends on the street. Tuesday we made 513 delicious meals. Add to that the 160 made in our Oak Cliff kitchen and 673 meals were provided to our friends. We would like to give our friend,. The Dallas Bears, a HUGE THANK YOU! They provided us with blankets galore! So, along with the meals, our friends were given a blanket. They were so grateful!! Sone of the pictures were taken by Truffles - thank you for sharing them!! God is GREAT!

This group is the absolute best! The caring and sharing that happens here is beyond belief! I am so very grateful for each and every one of you. This week, we were short quite a few people. BUT - we still managed to pull together 574 meals. Add to that the 220 meals our Oak Cliff kitchen did and we were able to feed 794 of our friends on Tuesday. Some of the pictures today were taken by one of our crew, Truffles. Thank you for letting me share them!

Another great day in the Taste of Hope kitchen. We pulled together 482 meals! Add to that the 160 meals made in one of our Oak Cliff kitchens, 582 of our friends got awesome meals! They are always grateful. The city of Dallas continues to challenge us. Each member of our group has to have a food handlers certificate. So, I pur out a text with all the info to our group. I requested we all get it done before next Tuesday. We will succeed!!! God is GREAT!!

Another great day in the Taste of Hope kitchen! We prepared 361 meals yesterday. Along with the 220 meals prepared in one of our Oak Cliff kitchens, 581 of our friends received hot meals Tuesday night. We received a visit from Dallas Code Compliance. After giving him our Code # and answering a few questions, he was convinced we were doing things the proper way. We also had 2 police officers visit with us. Very friendly! Turns out, they were there the night we got swarmed. I think he's feeling a little sheepish after chatting with us. But bridges were rebuilt last night, and I feel we have some allies! God is GREAT!

What a great day we had in the Taste of Hope kitchen yesterday! Between the church kitchen and one of our Oak Cliff kitchens we pulled together 677 meals. Such happy friends we had at City Hall and West End. We also celebrated Karann's Birthday. Also asked for prayers for the following volunteers: Kenny Landi; Kenny Goss, Manuel and David V. We also welcomed several new volunteers! Welcome and our family continues to grow

God is good all the time. All the time God is good!

Good morning! We had a fantastic day in the Taste of Hope kitchen yesterday. Our volunteers list has grown! We have the greatest group of hardworking volunteers and I love them all. Between the church kitchen and our Oak Cliff kitchen we were able to feed 675 of our friends. As always, greeted with lots of thanks, hugs, fist bumps etc. So grateful we are able to do this! God is good all the time. All the time God is good!!

Good morning! I just realized the post I did yesterday, didn't go through. Try this again. On Tuesday, the church kitchen put together 422 meals. Add to that the 200 meals our Oak Cliff kitchen made and we were able to feed 622 of our friends. The meals were accepted with gratitude and thanks. We also celebrated Kenny's birthday. We prayed for three of our friends who are going through major health issues right now. The great part of this team is the caring for each other. We all check up on one another. The friendships are strong! Being a part of this group is a true blessing! God is GREAT!!!
