Last year, we conducted a stakeholder survey and asked: What values should guide our organization’s decisions, actions and culture?

COMMUNITY was the top response by a large margin.

“We foster a supportive community where athletes, families, coaches, and volunteers build meaningful relationships and encourage one another both on and off the court. Through sport, we create a sense of belonging, connection, and shared purpose.”

We see this value in action through the young men and women who participated in our program as teens, went on to play in college or pursue careers, and then returned as volunteers to coach the next generation of adaptive athletes.

We see it in enthusiastic reunions between current players and alumni at tournaments, camps, and recruiting events.

And we see it in the lifelong friendships between families that form in the bleachers.

Once a Mav, always a Mav. 💙🏀

“A world where every child has access to the life-changing benefits of sports."

This is our vision. This is what inspires and motivates us every day.

Summer wheelchair basketball camp season is in full swing! Some of our middle and high school-aged athletes have been crisscrossing the country sharpening their skills, getting a glimpse into college life, and making new friends at camps hosted by
National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) Intercollegiate Division programs.

These camps offer more than just time on the court—they provide a firsthand look at what it's like to compete at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree. They have the chance to connect with current student-athletes and coaches, explore campus, and begin envisioning what their future could look like.

We can't wait to see where this journey takes them!
