Mormons2Grace Through the love of Christ - Reaching out to Mormons leaving their way of life, Mormons with questio We are here to help others S.E.E.

We S.upport those effected by the LDS religion with Ex – Mormon support groups and Bible study’s. Any former Mormons, or questioning Mormons are welcome. We E.quip others by offering Educational Meetings and Classes to teach others what the Mormon Religion believes, and how it differs from Biblical Christianity. And We E.vangelize Mormons through mission trips, and speaking to current LDS members

about God’s truth. We also offer Witnessing classes for others wanting to learn how to better witness to their Mormon friends out of Love. We are a ministry focused on accomplishing our mission out of love and respect. Our Ministry was co-founded by an Ex-Mormon, now Christian who understands not only being in the religion, but the teachings, and what it takes to leave.

LDS members frequently say that the doctrine of the Trinity is not legitimate, and is only a false teaching that derived from the Nicene creed. "The purpose of a creed is to provide a doctrinal statement of correct belief, or orthodoxy. The creeds of Christianity have been drawn up at times of conflict about doctrine: acceptance or rejection of a creed served to distinguish believers and deniers of a particular doctrine or set of doctrines."
So, either you agree with the Nicene creed, or you shouldn't refer to yourself as a Christian. If you claim the Nicene creed isn't Christian, then you must say all traditional Christian churches are not in fact Christian to begin with.. Which is it my LDS friends?

Ever heard of the Adam-God theory taught by Brigham Young? LDS often try to claim that Young didn't teach that Adam was God despite multiple quotes and sermons from Young on the topic, they have even released a statement that tries to explain what Young was saying. That said, here is a link to a letter where Bruce McConkie is calling out a BYU professor for teaching it, and he even says the following.

"Yes, President Young did teach that Adam was the father of our spirits, and all the related things that the cultists ascribe to him. This, however, is not true. He expressed views that are out of harmony with the gospel."

Mormons are always telling us they don't believe in works, but try to claim they are saved by faith alone (a foundational Christian doctrine). Had a conversation this week with a Mormon who said the following "God doesn't save you alone. You gotta do your part." If that isn't works plus faith, I don't know what is....

The Westminster catechism asks the question, "what is the chief end of man"? It then answers this question "to glorify God and enjoy Him forever". I remember having a discussion with an LDS friend, as we discussed what heaven would be like, I remember saying "it doesn't matter, I'll be there glorifying God, and that is more than sufficient". I remember being heartbroken with their response, "then what". It was heartbreaking because It showed that they had a small view of God. They couldn't imagine that just being with Him was good enougn. They expected something more, or thought they'd get bored. Adam & Eve had a similar thought when Satan deceived them into thinking the garden had something better to offer and God was holding out by telling them to not eat the fruit of the tree. God isn't holding out, He wants us to be satisfied and longing for Him and only Him.

We are to only worship God. To worship any other is sin. (Ex 34:14; Luke 4:8); We see in scripture where Christ is worshiped and prayed to. We see Mary Magdalene, Mary, the wise men, a blind man; and the disciples worship Christ. (Mat 28:9& 17;Mat 2; John 9:38) The angels worship Christ. (Heb 1:6-8) Thomas called Christ "My Lord AND My God" (John 20:28). Christ never corrected or rebuked them. He took their worship, which if He was not God, that would be sin. We even see angels correcting when John tries to worship them. (rev 19:10)

Christ can not be anything else aside from God. He cannot be our elder spirit brother, or God's spirit child.

Can Baptism be only symbolic, if it is essential to your salvation? When it becomes more than symbolism, and becomes (in your belief) essential to being saved, it then becomes a work. It is only when we accept Christ and His sacrifice that we are saved, it is not the baptism, nor is it any other act we preform. ANY work that we preform with the belief that it is needed to get us into heaven to be with God is us striving to get there by our own efforts. And our own efforts will never be enough.

"For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in His own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations." Eph 2:14-15 (NLT).

"But now we have been released from the law, having died to that which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in old ness of the letter"
