I want to live in a world where families feel free to say their babies’ names all year long.

Where mentioning them doesn’t make the room feel heavy.

Where people don’t immediately feel sad or uncomfortable when we share a memory, tell a story, or simply say their name.

Because talking about our babies isn’t always about grief.

Sometimes it’s about love.
Sometimes it’s about pride.
Sometimes it’s because they are our children, and we want to share them with the world just like any parent does.

There is something beautiful about saying their names, remembering who they are, and letting them continue to be part of our lives.

A Caring Cradle is a specially designed cooling device that allows a baby to remain with their family longer after they have passed away. By gently cooling the baby, it helps slow the natural changes that begin after death, giving parents and loved ones more time to hold their baby, take photos, introduce them to family, create keepsakes, and simply be together.

For families experiencing the unimaginable, those additional hours can mean everything.

This is why we are committed to helping provide Caring Cradles to hospitals across Texas and beyond.

This is Carter. 🤍

Our son. The reason behind Carter’s Classic.

Carter James was born still on July 29, 2022, at 30 weeks from a cord accident.

We had just four hours with him.

Four hours to hold him, memorize every tiny detail, tell him how deeply he was loved, and somehow try to fit a lifetime of love into an impossibly short amount of time.

Carter’s Classic was created in his memory.

We wanted a way to honor our son, keep his name alive, and create something meaningful from a love that will always be part of our family.

Today, Carter’s Classic raises funds for Caring Cradles, helping other families experiencing the loss of a baby have more time with their baby. Time to hold, time to love, time to say goodbye.

What started with our son has grown into a community that remembers him with us, honors other babies gone too soon, and helps us continue carrying Carter’s name forward. 🤍
