We are a non-profit created in honor of our son, Carter James.

Our mission is to provide families with the precious gift of time during a tragic loss by supplying hospitals with Caring Cradles.

As we gather on the course today, we’re reminded of our why.
We do this in memory of our son, Carter — and for every baby gone too soon.

Each swing, each smile, and each act of generosity today helps us give grieving families the gift of time through Caring Cradles — allowing parents precious moments to hold, love, and say goodbye to their babies. 🕊️

To every golfer, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who makes this possible — thank you for helping us carry Carter’s legacy forward.

We’re so thankful to have Texas Health Resources - Dallas return as a sponsor for this year’s Carter’s Classic.

Not only have they supported our event, but they have also been an incredible partner behind the scenes, helping us identify hospitals that need a Caring Cradle and ensuring donations reach the families who need them most.

Working with their team has been nothing but meaningful. They understand the heart of our mission and have gone above and beyond to help make it a reality.

🎶✨ We’re so excited to share something NEW at this year’s Carter’s Classic! ✨🎶

We heard your feedback — not everyone is a golfer, and that’s okay! This year we’re adding a live concert + happy hour after the tournament featuring the Brad Thompson Band! 🥂🎸 We’ll also have a silent auction with amazing items you won’t want to miss.

Over the past three months, we’ve had the honor of donating three new Caring Cradle cooling bassinets to hospitals across DFW.

Each dedication is deeply personal. We remember what it felt like to say goodbye too soon, and we created Carter’s Classic to give other families what we didn’t have: time.

Time to hold their baby.
Time to say goodbye.
Time to begin healing.

These moments are always emotional, but remind us of why Carter’s Classic exists. We’re incredibly grateful to the teams at each hospital for welcoming us with such compassion and for committing to supporting families in the most tender moments of their lives.

Carter’s legacy continues through these donations and we couldn’t do it without your support. Thank you so much!

Volunteer roles include:

Though we never got the chance to watch you grow up, your life continues to leave a lasting impact, not just on our family, but on families across the country.

Because of Carter, families experiencing the unthinkable are given the one thing we wished we had: more time.

Time to hold their baby.
Time to say goodbye.
Time to begin healing, at their own pace.

Carter’s Classic was created in his honor, and every Caring Cradle we place is a reflection of his legacy.
