**Urgent need**
Local couple requesting a tent, women’s clothing size 10 long pants, lg shirts, size 11 pants.
Toiletries, toilet paper, canned goods, clean socks.

Any help greatly appreciated. Will deliver this weekend once things are gathered

The plan this coming weekend is beef stew. Angel Mercano and her family are making the stew, and while hers and my families would LOVE to be able to do this on our own, we do need help. Any donations are appreciated! Even if it's just your time to come down and help serve. Here is what we need:

Any ingredients for stew
Rolls
Bowls and spoons
Bottled water or any kind of bottled/canned drinks
Volunteers to help serve

As always, and with winter coming, any clothing donations are greatly appreciated. Clean socks are ALWAYS in demand. Gently used shoes are always in demand. Blankets can start being donated in preparation for the cold weather packages we will be putting together soon.

Whew! This one was a labor of love, time, and pushed me personally....I put together home made chili and cornbread for our brothers and sisters in tent city. We weren't able to go Sunday because of a lack of available funds/donations, so Monday it is!!! We are headed downtown now to serve.

Looking forward to doing it every weekend, and praying for donations to be able to keep this mission going! Not just money or items, but time as well. If you can't give anything, give of yourself for an hour to lend an ear to someone with a story to tell!

Alright everyone, if we are going to help the homeless in our city, I need help! I have a huge vision, and I believe God can make it work, BUT I CAN NOT DO IT ALONE!!!

I have purchased a stew pot with donated money, and I have the base for the chili...I need hamburger meat, spices, bowls, and spoons. I can prepare and my family can serve tomorrow until it is gone. Please, if it is in your heart and budget to give supplies I will pick it up. If you are able to donate money, even $5 will go a long way and it can be sent directly to PAYPAL using the email address [email protected]

I'm trying something different this weekend. On Sunday, we will be taking a home cooked meal down to tent city. I am making home made chili. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how I'm going to take Enough to feed as many people as possible...

We need your help...
we need disposable bowls and spoons, corn bread, bottled water, napkins, and a table to set up on if anyone can let us borrow one or would like to come down with a table to help serve and meet the amazing people we serve.

We also have an elderly lady who for several weeks has been asking for a tent of her own because with cold weather coming, she worries about being out in the open. If anyone can donate one I know she will be so incredibly appreciative. ⛺️

Hey everyone! Who wants to come help tomorrow, or donate items to help the homeless!? Hopefully there won't be a need in the area we usually go to for much longer because the Dallas Housing Authority has been giving the residents of tent city help getting placed in housing that is available. They take priority as they have nowhere. I encourage you to come out and give an hour or so of your time being a blessing to these people. :)

Hey HTHD followers and members! We are going out again on Sunday, and things as a little slow this week in the donation department...we do what we can, but we need your help, even if it's just a $3 case of water or $3 worth of bananas....here are things we really need for Sunday:

-bottled water
-gently used men's shoes
-packages of women's and men's socks
-snack crackers or granola bars
-fresh fruit
-trail mix

We had a good visit with the people today. The kids came along with us and were a blessing to those missing their families. To anyone who donated clothing, thank you so much! The clothes were very appreciated! We are still in need of men's clothing and shoes...shoes and new socks are in very short supply. Have a great week guys, and remember, you can always be the only love someone received.

I want to thank all of our new members for liking the page! Please help us help the less fortunate by sharing posts and the page. We as a community can so SO much to show love to those less fortunate if we just work together.
