Troop 70 had a great weekend at Camp Wisdom on its annual Cobbler Campout, a troop tradition since the 1940s. It wouldn’t be a Cobbler Campout without some frost points, but the Scouts braved the cold like pros.

These brave Scouts (and two crazy Assistant Scoutmasters) got up at 5:30am this morning to jump in a pool for the Polar Bear Plunge (worth it), enjoyed a sunrise worship service, and finished up their merit badges classes today!

Troop 70 hosted its annual Webelos Walkabout event at Boy Scout Hill Pavilion (White Rock Lake), helping area Webelos earn requirements for their Webelos Walkabout, Scouting Adventure and Outdoor Adventurer pins.

Troop 70 had a busy day spreading holiday cheer in the form of Christmas greenery. We unloaded the 18-wheeler bright and early, distributed orders across the city, and conducted a tent sale at the Park Cities Tree Lighting Festival.
