We have another Get Up 2 Code neighbor who needs our support y'all! Sunday, February 1st we will be organizing a clean up on her property and providing support to mitigate Ms. Rosie's city code violations.

Each home tells a story. A story of sacrifice, love, loss, and safety. We deserve to live in homes that will last generations and provide a safe place for our family members.

THIS SATURDAY is the Holiday Holla National Day of Action 🎅🏽🎄

Pull up to to watch The Dallas Drug War, a 1988 PBS documentary special on overpolicing and violence during the 80’s drug epidemic. The documentary features Dallas figures like Dianne Ragsdale and Al Lipscomb as active city council members. 📽️

Holiday snacks will be provided and we’ll wrap up with a discussion about the film through a modern lens. 🍪☕️

Check out our previous post for more info on our gift drive to benefit youth whose parents are incarcerated (or in ICE detention) this holiday season. 💔

Yall idk how many protests, rallies, marches, rallies, and demonstrations we’ve been to that involved the state sanctioned murder of another unarmed Black person. We will avenge every death brought on by the indiscriminate police lynching that still plague our community.
