We asked one of our volunteers a few honest questions about what it’s really like to serve with CAYA Ministries.

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering but weren’t sure where to start, this one is for you. No experience needed. You just need to show up.

Every weekday all summer, we pack and deliver 700+ lunches to kids in Paulding County. There’s a place for you, whether you want to pack, deliver, or donate.

Week three of the CAYA Summer Lunch Program is in the books, and what a milestone: 9,700 lunches delivered to kids and families right here in our community! 🙌

Every single lunch happens because neighbors like you show up. And right now, we need you more than ever.

🚗 WE NEED 6 DRIVERS NEXT WEEK. If you can give a few hours to deliver lunches, you will be the reason a child eats that day.

🍎 WE NEED FOOD AND FINANCIAL DONATIONS. It costs $1,400 a day to meet the need in our community. Every dollar and every donated item goes straight to feeding kids.

Next week, CAYA Ministries needs YOU.

In just the first two weeks, we have served 6,100 lunches to children right here in Paulding County, and we are not slowing down. But we need your help to keep going.

We need 15 more drivers for next week, with 4 needed this Monday alone.

Without drivers and packers, kids don’t eat. It’s that simple.

CAYA Summer Lunch is off to a great start!
In just the first four days, we served around 2,700 lunches to children in our community. That is an incredible beginning, and we are so thankful for every volunteer and driver who helped get the program up and running this week!
But we still have a lot of summer ahead of us, and there is much more to do. We urgently need drivers and volunteers next week to help us continue serving kids and families throughout Paulding County. If you are available to help next week, especially as a driver, we need you!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we enjoy came at a great cost. We are grateful for those who served faithfully, for the families who carry the weight of their sacrifice, and for the mercy of living in a nation where we can serve our neighbors freely. From all of us at CAYA Reconciliation Ministries, we remember with gratitude.
