Young Leaders for Life We are young leaders cultivating an ethic of life through service, stories & education. We are a part of Council for Life. We educate, but we do not legislate.

As Young Leaders for Life, our vision is to foster a generation that affirms and respects the value of life. We welcome women and men of all backgrounds, political leanings, and faiths (or no faith at all) who share this vision or want to learn more. Council for Life exists to empower women, men, and youth to make life-affirming choices. The core values of Council for life are as follows:

We believe in the sanctity of Life and that Life begins at conception. We exist to equip and educate our community about issues concerning Life. The Word of God is our foundation of truth. We seek to ensure that all our endeavors glorify God. We are committed to under girding everything we say and do with love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness acting in compassion. We believe God redeems us and restores us.

There is much happening in the fight for Life. In our latest CFL Life News Update, we cover:

Along with fundraising for our outstanding Beneficiaries, the CFL Mission includes the important work of Education.

Every day, abortion kills 3,085 babies in the U.S., 137 babies in Texas and 32 babies in Dallas/Fort Worth. That is 1.126 million babies each year. Hundreds of thousands of women are harmed physically and emotionally. Our hearts break.

We feel a profound urgency caused by the darkness surrounding us. But the darkness will never overcome the light.

There is SO much to cover. SO much to pray for.

A Prayer for Baby Gabriel ๐Ÿฉต

Today, we pray for Baby Gabriel, the precious boy whose life reminds us that every life is worthy of love, no matter the circumstances.

When McKenna West learned that the baby she was carrying had a serious heart condition, she bravely chose to continue the pregnancy and give him the chance at life, despite the wishes of his biological parents to have him aborted.

Gabriel was born last week here in Dallas and yesterday underwent heart surgery.

๐Ÿ™ Lord, protect this precious child. Strengthen his tiny heart, guide his doctors and surround him with Your grace and love.

May his story remind us that a diagnosis does not diminish a child's dignity. Every child deserves the chance to be born, to be loved and to live.

Where are they?

It is estimated that 12 million Gen Alpha babies (2010-2024) were lost to abortion. Nearly one in five members of an entire generation never had the chance to take their first breath.

Each baby was more than a statistic. Each was a unique, unrepeatable life with a future known fully to God.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, our nation was born when 56 courageous men signed the Declaration of Independence, proclaiming the revolutionary truth that all people are created equal and endowed by their Creator with unalienable rightsโ€”including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

As we celebrate the birth of this great country, we also celebrate 25 years of Council for Lifeโ€™s mission to help ensure that every American child has the opportunity to celebrate her own birth. Every unborn childโ€”regardless of size, stage of development, environment, or degree of dependencyโ€”is worthy of love and protection, beginning with her most fundamental right: the right to life.

Thanks be to God for the blessings of life and liberty, and for the true freedom we have in Christ.

We especially honor the fathers who courageously chose life for their unborn child, even when faced with pressure or uncertainty. By embracing their role as protector and provider, they helped create a future filled with hope. Their willingness to stand for life reminds us that every child is a gift and every father has the power to make a life-changing difference.

On May 14, the Supreme Court blocked a ruling that would prohibit doctors from dispending the chemical abortion drug mifepristone without an in-person doctor visit or through the mail to any state or even within a state where abortion is legal.

The Supreme Court's ruling tragically maintains the status quo, allowing mifepristone to be prescribed via telehealth and dispensed by mail order.
