This resource is designed to assist individuals and groups involved in unsheltered feeding events by providing clear access to training opportunities and compliance requirements. It reflects our ongoing efforts to educate and equip volunteers engaged in charitable street feeding, to promote safe and responsible food handling practices.

Join us for our virtual Food Safety Training (Chapter 17.1-6) on the first Tuesday of each month to learn safe and responsible food handling practices.

Dallas is opening a large inclement weather shelter at Fair Park’s Automobile Building today at 4pm ahead of the incoming winter storm

⚠️ Dangerous Weather Ahead: How You Can Help Save Lives ⚠️

Stay tuned to our social channels for updates - Austin Street will help operate an inclement weather shelter in the coming days and we need community support to protect unsheltered neighbors.

Urgent needs ahead of this weekend:
♨️ Blankets to keep our clients warm
🍗 Non-perishable snacks and protein (like tuna or chicken pouches)
💧 Water bottles to keep our guests hydrated
💲 Online monetary donations help us provide resources that will continue to save lives.
📦 Other important items such as sweatpants (medium and large), socks, and other essentials can be dropped off or delivered via our Amazon Wishlist

In 2025, we protected more than 4,000 individuals from life-threatening conditions, and we expect to serve as many or more this season.
