On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we train… but after the session, we mentor.

A lot of our kids are growing up without a father present. I understand that struggle personally. I grew up with almost every disadvantage stacked against me — a single-parent home, an apartment community filled with crime, a poor education system, welfare, and I even became a father while still in high school.

Still… I rise.

What we as men must continue to understand is this:
The man you become is ultimately the man you choose to work to be.

Question of the day:

“If your father was sitting here with us right now, what’s one thing you would want to ask him?”

Some of the answers:
• “What can you do to become a better father?”
• “Were you ready to be a father?”
• “Can you come around more?”

Statistically, having a father involved in your upbringing gives you an advantage in life.

It’s time to bridge the gap.

Pull up Thursday. Get some work in… then let’s start the real work. 💯

Thank you to my HHP Elite family! 🧡🩷

As we wrap up our Winter League season, we truly appreciate all the love, effort, and unwavering support shown to our coaches and athletes. You can’t build a program full of great players without having great parents and great families behind them.

All season long I watched coaches, players, and parents traveling from gym to gym supporting every team, even when they didn’t have a child or family member playing. And still cheering from the stands like that was their own baby on the court!

To our coaches — Wes, Pat, and my OG — thank you for putting up with me and everything I ask of you. You all spend countless hours volunteering your time, patience, and energy for these kids, often sacrificing parts of your normal lives to pour into them. We know you don’t hear it enough, but we truly appreciate you. Thank you. 🙏🏽🤞🏽

Parents, we appreciate you trusting us to be part of your babies’ growth and development. We may not always get everything right, but know that we will always show up and do the best we know how for these kids.

And if you didn’t quit after me yelling at your baby… just know I love you for it! 🤣🤣

Special shoutout to the teams that made a playoff run:

🥇 12U Lady HHP – 1st Place (Cedar Hill League) | 2nd Place (DeSoto League)
🥈 14U Boys – 2nd Place (DeSoto League) | 3rd Place (Cedar Hill League)
🥉 8U Boys – 3rd Place
🥉 12U Boys – 3rd Place
🏀 6U Boys – 5th Place

After all the tears, laughter, jokes, hugs, good days, and tough days… just know I’m choosing us over everybody. 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Drop those 🧡🩷 in the comments and show our babies some love!

We don’t join big programs — we build them.
