For more than 50 years, she was known only as "Jane Doe."

Now, Iowa's longest-unidentified Jane Doe has her name back: Cheryl Lynn Edwards.

Cheryl was just 15 years old when she was found in the Mississippi River in 1975. Despite decades of investigative efforts, her identity remained a mystery.

Through forensic genetic genealogy and the collaborative work of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, NCMEC, Astrea Forensics, and the DNA Doe Project, Cheryl has finally been identified.

Now that she has her name back, investigators continue searching for answers. More here: https://www.ourquadcities.com/news/local-news/homicide-victim-missing-since-1975-has-been-identified-clinton-county-sheriffs-office/

Domestic violence can affect anyone, regardless of gender.

Yet many male victims and survivors never seek support because they fear they won't be believed. One of the most important things we can do is listen. Believing survivors, responding without judgment, and creating space for people to share their experiences can make a meaningful difference.

By challenging stereotypes about who experiences abuse, we can help ensure that all victims and survivors know support is available and that they do not have to face abuse alone.

Did you know AI "nudify" apps can create fake n**e images of anyone using a standard photo?

Because it is , it’s time to have real conversations with our youth. These AI-driven apps require no consent and can turn a clothed picture of your teen into a deepfake in seconds. The images are frequently used for harassment, bullying, and sextortion.

Take Control of Your Images:
If you or your child are facing AI image manipulation or blackmail, you are not alone. Do not pay any ransom. Instead, screenshot the threats, block the user, and report it. You can anonymously flag and request the removal of intimate images using TakeItDown.NCMEC.org.

❗️WARNING❗️ ❗️HUMAN TRAFFICKING ❗️
Alias - CLIFTON HALFMOON
Name- Clifton Campbell

Public statement attached

✨”Undercover officers in Houston made contact with that woman and got the rest of her story. According to court documents, "when the complainant told Campbell on May 27th that she no longer wanted to pr******te for him, he punched her in the throat with a closed fist, causing her to be unable to swallow and punched her in the eye with a closed fist."”✨

Examples of human trafficking and types :

⚠️Romeo pimps or “boyfriending”

Recruitment and grooming: A man and a woman meet briefly at a party and afterwards, he follows her on social media. He contacts her after she posts about a breakup with her baby’s father. He is everything she ever dreamed of – a great listener, very supportive. He showers her with gifts. She is deeply in love and believes she has found the person she will build her family with. One night he takes her to a party and he tells her to be “nice” to his friends – to earn jewelry. He makes it seem like it’s no big deal at first, so she does it. But then it becomes more frequent.
Coercion and control: He keeps all the money she earns and tells her he is saving for them to buy a house. Sometimes he hits her to help her understand how much he needs for her to contribute. He says he will stop loving her and she will be alone again if she keeps making trouble.
Exit: After he blackens her eye, she packs up a “go” bag, calls a friend and escapes when her trafficker is out of the house.

⚠️Familial trafficking

⚠️Child trafficking

⚠️ Exploitation of addiction

⚠️ Exploitation of disabilities

⚠️ Gangs

Recruitment and grooming: A young woman grows up in a neighborhood where gangs control most of the commercial activity and the streets. She joins them for protection and a sense of belonging, and because there are few other options available. The gang tells her she has to engage in prostitution and give them the proceeds to help them pay a drug debt they owe to a rival gang.
Coercion and control: If she leaves the gang, her family, their home and their business will be targeted for violence.
Exit: When the gang is targeted in a police raid involving drugs, she is swept up by a trauma-informed police officer who understands the situation and connects her with appropriate supports.

⚠️CEO PIMPING

I went into detail on ones that this man is guilty of.

Please be aware, take care of your self, our ceremonies, our women and children.
