The future of Title IX is on the line. ⚖️

Tomorrow, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments that could shape the future of transgender and nonbinary (TNB) youth in America. At the heart of West Virginia v. BPJ and Little v. Hecox is a simple question: Does the Equal Protection Clause protect all students, or can states categorically bar trans girls and women from participating on girls’ and women’s sports teams?

A broad ruling doesn’t just impact the field—it opens the door to widespread discrimination in healthcare, housing, and education.

While our communities are worried about putting food on the table, making rent, losing healthcare, or being abducted by ICE, politicians and billionaires are making our lives harder by spending millions of dollars to ignite unfounded fears about trans people in an attempt to divide us. The current administration is abusing its power to target our communities, suppress dissent, and create a climate of fear, and some politicians are using these cases to legitimize discrimination and push trans and nonbinary people out of public life altogether. We refuse to let that happen.

✊A broad and diverse group of organizations will come together on this day because we understand that an attack on one is an attack on all. In these chaotic and uncertain times it is crucial to build a strong, united and politically activated community to protect the vulnerable and ensure our collective survival. Our movement for change will continue to grow until we build a world that uplifts all marginalized communities and liberates oppressed people.

Calling all trans orgs, activists and allies!

During the weekend of Trans Day of Visibility, we will be holding a mass demonstration at Dallas City Hall in defiance of the right-wing’s total war on trans life.

To be ready for the big day, we are hosting a public Art Build at the Dallas Liberation Center, 1811 Balboa Pl Dallas, on Saturday, March 22nd at 5PM CT!

We will gather to create signs, banners and other material to be used during the mass demonstration. Together we will bolster our solidarity and build bonds of friendship with the ultimate goal of protecting, supporting and empowering our trans and q***r comrades in the fight for liberation.

Supplies will be provided but we encourage you to bring your own to contribute to the group as well.

As we navigate a cruel world of anti-trans rhetoric and violence, it’s essential to check in on our TGNC siblings often. A kind word, a listening ear, or simply being present can make all the difference. Together, we can build a world where every TGNC person is celebrated, protected, and loved.
