Day 2 — That’s a wrap! 🇰🇷🇺🇸✨
KAYAT hosted a Texas-themed craft booth and performed a fan dance at the closing ceremony.

We also joined the dance competition with the Dallas team, and loved seeing other city teams dance with us!

Special shoutout to Caleb Kim, who helped make the event theme song “We Shine.” The athletes loved it!

Day 1 at the Korean American Adaptive Sports Festival! 🇰🇷🇺🇸

KAYAT was honored to be part of this meaningful event celebrating inclusion, community, and Korean culture.

Our members hosted a Korean craft table, performed Nanta drums, and shared the energy of K-pop dance with participants and families.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, serve, and celebrate together through the arts. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us!

KAYAT visited a nursing home to deliver flowers and share love and appreciation with the residents. It was a meaningful time for our members to honor and celebrate the mothers and grandmothers in our community.

We also want to give a heartfelt thank you to all the amazing KAYAT moms who continue to support, encourage, drive, volunteer, and help make everything possible. We truly could not do this without you.

Happy AAPI Heritage Month!
KAYAT is proud to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage through music, dance, art, and culture.

Our students performed a fun Nanta drum cover of “Soda Pop” from KPop Demon Hunters to share the energy and joy of Korean culture with our community.
