The Legacy of Service Foundation was formed by the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Omicron Mu Omega Chapter to provide outreach for women and children issues and provide scholarships to students seeking to attend a college or university to pursue their education.

A Night of Excellence: The Legacy of Light Image Awards

The Legacy of Service Foundation recently hosted the Legacy of Light Image Awards Celebration, an evening dedicated to the pillars of our mission: community impact, scholarship support, and collective service. It was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we show up for one another.

The Veggie Project: Founded by Betty Montgomery, this organization was honored for its incredible commitment to community health and sustainability.

Brittany K. Barnett: Recipient of the Presidential Award, recognized for her profound leadership and advocacy.

Events like these do more than celebrate past achievements—they fuel the future by funding scholarships for the next generation of leaders. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this evening a success.

Our Sub committee Lead picked up the Legacy of Service Foundation check from Chicken N Pickle!

Our LoS Foundation raised over $700.00 with donations.
