Last night was one of those rare moments in life that stays with you forever, and we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Richard Moran for hosting us. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, appreciated, and genuinely valued. Thank you for your time, and for sharing your stories with us. We had an unforgettable evening getting to know more about your incredible journey during your Green Bay Packers days—stories that most fans only get to hear through documentaries, interviews, or highlight reels. To hear them firsthand, directly from you, was truly something special. For lifelong Packers fans like us, meeting you wasn’t just exciting—it was a dream come true. There’s something surreal about shaking hands with the man behind the mask, the man beneath the pads, the man whose grit and legacy helped define an era of football we grew up admiring. I also want to take a moment to highlight my brother Charlie Matthews, who joined me last night and shares the same lifelong passion for the Packers. Beyond being a dedicated fan, Charlie is also a proud Board Member of Feeding Kids by Faith Inc., and he’s committed to fighting childhood hunger and supporting families in need. His heart for service, leadership, and community impact is something I deeply admire, and it was meaningful to experience this moment with someone who carries both passion and purpose wherever he goes.
Richard, thank you again for an evening we will never forget. Here’s to new friendships, unforgettable stories, and memories that will last a lifetime. 🧀💛💚

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Mrs. Amy and Mrs. White for making the effort to attend my talk at this year’s Hancock Symposium. Their presence meant a great deal to me. My path at Westminster College would have ended early if not for the guidance and support of these two extraordinary women. There was a pivotal point when I thought about leaving college to chase my dream, and I was ready to walk away from everything to pursue it. But My Ma, Mrs. Amy, and Mrs. White saw a different future for me. They challenged me to look beyond my own ambitions. Through countless conversations, and their steady belief in my abilities, they helped me see that my potential wasn’t limited to the field. Their advice was never forced or heavy-handed—it was patient, thoughtful, and always rooted in genuine care. Looking back, I realize how blessed I was to have people who saw qualities in me that I hadn’t yet recognized in myself. I’m proud to say that their faith in me was not misplaced. We owe much of what I’ve accomplished to their insight and persistence. I also want to extend a special thank you to Tony Mitchell, owner of FromTheStoop502 and board member of Feeding Kids by Faith Inc. Tone, you showed up in person when it mattered, and you managed to capture the spirit of the day perfectly. Your support, your presence, and the way you document these moments—it all means more to me than I could ever say. You’ve been a brother to me through it all, and I’m grateful for your friendship. To all of you—thank you, your influence reaches further than you know. - Rodney 🙏🏾

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Westminster College for the honor of being invited to participate in the 20th Anniversary of the Hancock Symposium. We are truly thankful for the opportunity to share our mission of abolishing youth hunger with such an engaged and thoughtful community. Your invitation not only gave us a platform to highlight an urgent cause, but it also helped us connect with a new audience eager to make a difference. For that, we are deeply appreciative. Thank you to all faculty, staff and students who took the time to listen, ask questions, and show genuine support. Each of you reminded us that change is only possible when communities come together with compassion and commitment. A special word of thanks goes to the Westminster Blue Jay’s football team for the love and encouragement they showed us. Till next time, GO BLUE JAY’S🙏🏾

Sincerely,
- Rodney

Seven years ago, Feeding Kids by Faith, Inc. began with a simple Prayer: Asking God that no child would go to bed hungry. Today, we stand in awe of what God has made possible through this mission. Before anything else, we lift our thanks to Jesus for guiding our hands, opening doors, and sustaining our hearts as we serve children. Every hot balanced meal, every healthy snack, every smile — all of it started and continues because of His Grace. We are deeply grateful to every single person who has walked this journey with us. Whether you were there at the very beginning or you joined somewhere along the way, your time, Prayers, donations, and encouragement have carried us through every challenge. To the volunteers who’ve spent long hours preparing and distributing meals, to the local partners who opened their doors, to every supporter who believed in this mission — thank you! You have helped us serve thousands of hot, balanced meals and healthy snacks, and you’ve shown so many kids that they matter. Your compassion has been felt in every city we reach. We know the work isn’t finished. Youth hunger doesn’t end in seven years, and neither will our commitment. With God’s help and your continued support, we’re looking ahead to more years of service, more children fed, and more futures brightened. Together, we’re helping our youth aspire toward the future they imagine.
Here’s to the next chapter. Thank you all — from day one to year seven. We’re just getting started. 🎈🎂🎊🎉🎁
