During The National Day of Remembrance for Homicide Victims, advocates and community members commemorate murder victims and surviving family members. Today also honors the work of organizations that provide services, including support, advocacy, and counseling for families, individuals, and communities coping with homicide-related deaths.

The Chris Murzin Foundation is proud to honor Chris Murzin’s legacy. We serve to support, advocate, and seek justice for families who have lost their loved ones to homicide. Thank you for supporting us in all that we do❤️

We have incredible news to share regarding the February 2021 Data For Justice Initiative:

Thanks to your generosity, prayers, and unwavering support, we successfully raised the $60,000 needed to purchase the February 2021 data. As an incredible bonus, we were also able to acquire the data from January, March, and April of 2021, expanding the scope of this effort beyond what we originally hoped for.

The data has now been purchased, and analysis is officially underway with our investigative partners. While there are no guarantees, this represents the greatest opportunity we’ve ever had to uncover new leads in Chris’s case and to potentially help other families still searching for answers.

We could not have reached this milestone without you. Every donation, every prayer, every share, and every word of encouragement made this possible.

As this work continues, we ask for your prayers—that this data provides meaningful leads, helps bring answers for Chris, and offers hope to other families still searching for justice.

Five years ago today, Chris Murzin was taken from us far too soon.

On February 11, 2021, he was killed in a senseless act of road rage. Five years later, his case remains unsolved, but our fight for justice continues.

Through The Chris Murzin Foundation, we honor his legacy by advocating for advancements in technology and data accessibility to help solve homicide cases and bring answers to families still searching for justice.

Chris was a devoted husband, father, and friend to all—his impact will never be forgotten. We miss him every day, but his spirit drives our mission forward.

We’ve identified a rare opportunity to purchase historical location-based data from February 2021—data we didn’t know still existed that may provide new investigative leads in unsolved homicide cases.

The Chris Murzin Foundation February 2021 Data for Justice Initiative is to raise funds to purchase this data that will support responsible, evidence-based collaboration with law enforcement so families are not left without answers simply because time has passed.
