This will be a collaborative, case-based discussion where we can review NHSN surveillance updates and definitions using real-world examples. See the e-mail update sent on 8/3/26 for the link to join.


This discussion will be held at 12PM on the first Thursday of every month – an hour before our monthly APIC DFW meetings. We look forward to our discussions!

Hospital-onset bacteremia surveillance is on the horizon, and Infection Preventionists will play a critical role in successful implementation.
APIC-DFW invites eligible members to participate in a doctoral research study evaluating Infection Preventionists' readiness for HOB surveillance implementation.
Participation includes:

✔️ Self-paced educational module
✔️ Brief post-survey
⏱ Approximately 1 hour total
