Greetings NTX Region!

The Career Expo will highlight opportunities for those interested in becoming a Texas State Trooper, as well as civilian positions in Driver License, Crime Lab, Communications, and Criminal Analysis.

Participants will also have the opportunity to experience several hands-on demonstrations and displays, including:
• Virtual Reality (VR) training simulations that allow participants to experience real-world, stress-based decision-making scenarios
• Drone operations demonstrations
• Texas Ranger Special Operations armored vehicle display
• Tactical Marine Unit boats
• Mounted patrol

This is a free event, and we encourage broad distribution of the flyer to schools, career programs, and individuals who may be interested in careers in public safety.

Additionally, the following day will serve as an open testing day for individuals who wish to begin the process of becoming a Texas State Trooper.

Interested applicants can register and test at that time. This testing opportunity will be competitive, and we are looking for highly motivated candidates ready to demonstrate they have what it takes to join the department.

We appreciate the region’s support in sharing this opportunity and helping us identify the next generation of DPS professionals.
