You can help protect your property, your family, and your community by registering your security camera(s) with the Dallas Township Police Department.

This is a voluntary program for residents and businesses in Dallas Township. It lets us know you have a camera(s) and are willing to share any videos that your cameras may capture in the event of a crime or an incident. This program is being used by hundreds of police departments across the country with great success. It is a great crime deterrent and adds more eyes on the street.

Here's how it works. By registering your camera system, you help our officers save time by avoiding the need to search for cameras and locate owners to obtain footage. In the event of a crime or incident, our officer(s) will refer to the registration database to check for any registered cameras in the area. If there is a registered home or business, an officer from our department will contact you. Only the footage relevant to that particular incident will be requested. All information remains confidential. It is important to note that at no time will we have any external access to your camera system.
