Our goal is to equip Ataxia patients and the families, loved ones, and caregivers with the education, services, and resources needed better prepare for what lies ahead. After witnessing the traumatic effects that Ataxia can have on a family or loved one, I wanted to start an organization that could provide individualized care, financial assistance services, and holistic education to understand this condition. We will accomplish this through four separate channels of services:
In-Home Direct Care Unburdening Services
• Cleaning and handyman services
• Accessibility home renovations
• Implement home automation services
Community and Family Educational and Awareness
• Partner with National and Global Support Groups
• Create and become apart of Awareness Campaigns
• Create and Maintain Documentation on Research, Ataxia Specialist, Genetic Testing/Counselors, and Patient Repositories
Customized Case Management/Relationship Building
• Create a one-on-one experience
• Provide “Family Care” services for the loved ones and caregivers
• Create individualized Care Plan, tailored towards their specific needs
Financial Assistance Services
• Create a financial reimbursement plan specifically created
• Partner with Disability Law offices that will allow the patients to maximize the number of disability funds they receive
• Partner with organizations that provide disability services and products to reduce costs for the patient
