On Friday, The Harding Farlough Consistory joined Cornerstone Masonic Lodge #15, A.F. & A.M., in their noble endeavor to provide sustenance to the homeless community. Through our collective efforts, we were fortunate enough to serve a substantial number of hot meals.

This morning, we had the privilege and pleasure of serving at JP Starks Elementary. We read to the students and served the educators coffee and donuts. The Elves and Santa also made an appearance and read the morning announcements. We want to express our gratitude to Principal Howard for welcoming us.

Grand Session 6024!

05/06/2024

This past Saturday, the brothers of Pride of Texas Lodge #7 gathered to mourn the loss of our esteemed Past Master, Jaffar Milledge, as we laid him to rest. As Freemasons, we are constantly reminded of the inevitability of change and decay inherent in all living things. Though we often find ourselves engrossed in our plans and aspirations, seldom do we contemplate our own mortality. Yet, death comes unexpectedly, at times seemingly inconvenient to our plans.

Brother Jaffar Milledge was more than a member of our lodge; he was a father, a son, a mentor, an educator, a friend, and a steadfast pillar of support to those around him. His absence leaves a void within the Masonic family, and those fortunate enough to have known him will forever cherish his memory. His impact on countless lives was immeasurable as an educator, leaving us saddened by the thought that future students will never experience his wisdom firsthand.

As Freemasons, let us be guided by the principles of justice and virtue, ensuring our actions align with these noble standards. Let us strive to emulate Brother Jaffar's exemplary life so that, when our time comes to join the Grand Warden of Heaven, we may be deemed worthy, just as he was. Our brother has completed his earthly labors and has been called to eternal refreshment in the paradise of God. May we all follow his example, seeking admission into the celestial lodge where the Great Architect of the Universe presides. Until then, we bid our dear friend and brother farewell.
