Community Service is one of GUNAA – DALLAS CHAPTER’s pillars of engagement. Proud to represent GSU in the Dallas area! Leading by example, President Harmona Epps delivered the makings for a delicious Thanksgiving meal to this very appreciative family. Also, our 1st Vice-President Kathaleen Reynolds and 2nd Vice-President Ashley Milton were instrumental in completing meal deliveries to several grateful families on behalf of the Chapter, including families from Charles Riche Learning Center. Dallas Chapter brightened the 2025 Thanksgiving holiday for seven (7) families in the Dallas area through giving back to the community!

COMMEMORATING 124 YEARS! Grambling State University opened its doors on November 1, 1901 as the Colored Industrial and Agricultural School. The North Louisiana Colored Agriculture Relief Association, organized in 1896 by a group of African-American farmers, wanted to form and operate a school for African Americans in their area of The State of Louisiana and sought assistance from Tuskegee Institute. In response to their request, Booker T. Washington of Tuskegee sent Charles P. Adams to help organize an industrial school and became its founding president. ,

Remember to join us in celebrating our 124th Founder's Day, which will be recognized with events on Thursday, October 30.

✨ 8 a.m. – Founder’s Bust Ceremony | Outside Lee Hall
🎓 10 a.m. – Founder’s Day Convocation | Hobdy Assembly Center

Founder's Day Convocation will feature keynote speaker Dr. Melva K. Wallace, President of Huston–Tillotson University and proud GSU alumna. Learn more at gram.edu/founders. 💛🖤
