Hoops in the Highlands

Hoops in the Highlands A fun and competitive 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament for K to 8th Graders.

Hoops in the Highlands is the neighborhood event of the year -- a fun place to see old friends, make some new ones and enjoy a great youth basketball tournament. Hoops, as many refer to it, is a ton of fun and features food, live music and a new Hoop Zone created especially for younger fans. Other things that are new for this year include:
*Paid Court Monitors/Referees for the first time.) *A "Coa

ch's Code of Conduct" that has been added to the rules that you will see during Registration
*Ties after overtime will be settled by shooting free throws. Registration will be open online at the http://hoopsinthehighlands.net website in early 2017. The event will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2017, at Highland Oaks Church of Christ on Walnut Hill Lane, just East of Plano Road.

The inaugural winners of the Hoops in the Highlands “Wynne with Heart” award! These hoopers honored sweet Wynne Naylor’s memory by leaving their hearts on the floor. They competed intensely and exhibited true love for the game and their competition. There’s good news, Lake Highlands—there will be many more like Wynne 💙
