As a performer, Arnor regularly commissions and premieres new works by current composers, and has performed with various ensembles, including the New York Philharmonic, New York Classical Players, and with the Music Academy of the West’s Festival Orchestra as a soloist for Sculptures with seven-time Grammy®-nominated composer Andy Akiho. Recently, Arnor was invited to serve as a guest artist at the 2025 Juilliard Summer Percussion Seminar, performing a solo recital alongside Silk Road Ensemble founding member Joseph Gramley. Arnor received his master’s degree from the Juilliard School, studying with New York Philharmonic percussionist Daniel Druckman. He received his bachelor’s degree from Boston University magna cm laude on a full arts scholarship, where he studied percussion performance with Sam Solomon, Kyle Brightwell and Boston Symphony timpanist Tim Genis, and studied composition with Martin Amlin.

✨Composer spotlight: Peter Damon-Cronmiller✨

Peter Damon-Cronmiller is an emerging musicologist, composer, and poet currently completing an intensive Master of Music degree in Composition at the Royal Northern College of Music under the supervision of Raymond Yiu and Adam Gorb. He also holds a master’s degree with distinction in Musicology from King’s College, London. His research interests center on how studies of early sound recording and historical performance practices can intersect with semiology and musical ontology in the academic and creative treatments of these subjects. His compositions are also particularly influenced by Ancient Greek poetic topoi, Baroque forms, and the history of q***r discourse, and have been performed by musicians across the US and UK, including the Manchester Contemporary Orchestra, the BBC Singers, the Orchestra of King’s College, London, and musicians at the 2025 Mostly Modern Music Festival.

See the work premiered by at our open rehearsal workshop (Feb. 26-27 from 4-10pm and Feb 28 from 8-1pm), come see our concert Pathways from Home at 7pm on February 28th, or our ENCORE Concert on March 1st!!
