This is a coordinated campaign to manufacture fear around one of the safest forms of gender-affirming care available to transgender youth.

Lie one: They're experimental and untested. False. Puberty blockers have been used safely for decades to treat precocious puberty in cisgender children. Lie two: They're irreversible. False. They're completely reversible when discontinued. Lie three: They cause infertility. False. No evidence supports this claim when used appropriately. Lie four: Kids are too young to make these decisions. False. These medications buy time for youth to mature before permanent changes occur. Lie five: There's no research on long-term effects. False. Extensive research shows positive mental health outcomes and no serious adverse effects. Lie six: They're being handed out like candy. False. Accessing puberty blockers requires extensive evaluation by medical professionals.

Every major medical organization supports the use of puberty blockers for transgender youth because the research is clear: they save lives. When trans kids receive appropriate care, including puberty blockers when medically indicated, their mental health improves dramatically. The real danger isn't the medication. It's the misinformation campaign designed to deny life-saving healthcare to vulnerable young people who desperately need our support, not our skepticism."
