A scholar. A leader. A force.

Dr. Jamila Thomas is a proud Lincoln High alum and Dallas native with over 20 years of leadership in education, equity, and youth empowerment.

She holds degrees from Florida A&M, University of Chicago Divinity School, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Dallas Baptist University. She founded the Racial Equity Office at Dallas ISD, helped shape African American History curriculum for Texas schools, and currently serves as Chief Development Officer at VolunteerNow.

As a 2024–2025 Obama Foundation Leader and Presidential Leadership Scholar, Dr. Thomas is proof that faith, strategy, and service can shift systems.

Thank you for returning to Lincoln through Loud Futures and showing students what it means to lead with both vision and purpose.

From Drill Team Captain to Data Analyst in the making Drea Kelly is showing Lincoln High students what it looks like to walk in excellence early.

A proud alum of Lincoln and current Community Scholar, is majoring in Accounting & Business Information Systems on a full ride. She’s also a Gates Scholar, a leader in the Black Student Association, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Now she’s back as part of Loud Futures, standing in the same halls that helped shape her, and reminding students: success isn’t something you wait on, it’s something you show up for, every day.

Let’s talk about representation in real time.

Kelbie Lewis graduated from Lincoln High School just a few years ago now she’s walking back through those same halls, not as a student, but as a storyteller, journalist, and Digital Content Producer for .

A proud Gen Z voice and 2021 alum, Kelbie is living proof that you don’t have to wait decades to make an impact. She earned her associate’s degree before high school graduation, locked in her Broadcast Journalism degree from THE , and hit the ground running with experience at ABC 13 KTRK and KTSU 2 News before landing her role with Tegna.

Now she’s coming back to remind students that their goals aren’t far away, they’re already within reach.

From going 30-0 and winning a state title as a student at Lincoln High, to becoming one of the most respected athletic leaders in Texas, she is proof that greatness starts right here.

Now a certified athletic administrator, USA Basketball coach, 3x THSCA presenter, and 2025 TABSE state conference speaker, Coach Dixon is bringing her brilliance back to to pour into the next generation as part of Loud Futures.

A product of South Dallas, a leader in her field, and most importantly a mama who’s still making room for legacy.
