We are incredibly grateful to Tiffany and Dr. Tripp Stone for their generous $30,000 donation to the More-Than-A-Home Capital Campaign.

Dr. Stone not only serves our community through his compassionate care for patients, but also through his leadership as Chief of Staff at Dallam-Hartley Counties Hospital District. His commitment to the health and wellbeing of Dalhart extends far beyond the walls of the hospital, and this gift is another reflection of the deep care he and Tiffany have for the future of our community.

Dr. Stone shared these words about their decision to give:

"It is a real honor to be a part of the long-term care facility fundraising effort. Giving to this effort is not only giving to the fund that will build a much-needed long-term care facility, it will be giving to a hope in the strength of this community by reaching the $5,000,000 goal. Furthermore, it will be giving back to the legacy of Gene Rahll. While I did not know him very well, or sadly, for very long, his reputation as a local philanthropist was well known. He believed in Dalhart and the strength of its community members. As my wife and I start our family here, investing in our community was a must. We hope we can continue the momentum to provide those entering a new season in life a safe and comfortable place to call home."

The Stones’ generosity and dedication remind us that this project is about more than a building — it is about honoring our elders, strengthening healthcare in our rural community, and ensuring future generations have access to compassionate care close to home.

Thank you, Tiffany and Dr. Stone, for your leadership, your service, and your belief in the future of Dalhart. Your support is helping build a lasting legacy for our community. 💙

We are incredibly blessed by the generosity of Amy and Karlyle Haaland. Their $500,000 pledge brings us one step closer to building a home that honors our elders and strengthens the future of rural healthcare in Dalhart. 💙

Amy and Karlyle shared this beautiful reflection about their decision to give:

"Inspired by the extreme generosity of Louise and Gene Rahll, we also want to do our part for the men and women who cleared a path for us. Building this home is a way for us to biblically honor our elders and to support quality care in Dalhart."

Their words perfectly capture the heart of this project. This campaign is about more than bricks and mortar — it is about honoring the generations who built this community and ensuring they are cared for with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Amy and Karlyle, we are truly blessed by your generosity and your belief in the future of healthcare in our community. Your gift will make a lasting difference for the families of Dalhart for generations to come.

Together, we are building something meaningful — a home filled with care, dignity, and love for those who once cared for us.

From all of us at Dallam-Hartley Counties Hospital District, thank you for helping bring this vision to life. 💙

We are incredibly grateful to Central Methodist Church for their generous gift to the Dallam Hartley Counties Healthcare Foundation in support of our More Than a Home capital campaign. This meaningful contribution reflects a deep commitment to our community and to the care of our seniors—both now and for generations to come. 💙

As shared by Joyce Bezner of Central Methodist Church:
“Central Methodist Church feels fortunate to financially partner with the community by supporting the ‘More Than A Home’ Campaign. Our church members have benefited from the local convenience of Legacy Assisted Living and C**n Memorial Nursing Home. Many have made those places home. One of Central’s core values is to participate in local, regional & foreign missions. We believe this to be a great local and regional opportunity, and we look forward to seeing how this project will help our residents thrive. Thank you for reaching out to the local churches and giving Central the opportunity to steward God’s gifts.”

We are truly thankful for Central Methodist Church’s generosity, faith, and partnership in this once-in-a-generation project. Support like this brings us closer to building a new long-term care facility that will serve Dalhart with compassion, dignity, and heart—more than a home, for years to come. 💙

💙 Grateful for Community. Inspired by Generosity. 💙

We are incredibly thankful to Alfonso Venegas for his generous $30,000 gift to the Dallam Hartley Counties Healthcare Foundation in support of our More Than a Home capital campaign to build a new long-term care facility for Dalhart.

Alfonso is a dedicated, involved, and passionate member of our community, and this gift reflects the heart of Dalhart—neighbors investing in neighbors and believing in the future of where we live. Support like this makes a meaningful difference and helps move this much-needed project forward.

As Alfonso shared:

“I’m really thankful to be in a position to give back to a community that has supported me so much. This donation is about believing in where we live and choosing to invest in the people who make it special. Huge thank you to Louise and Gene Rahll for their incredible gift and for setting the bar for what real community looks like. Their generosity is what makes projects like this possible. I hope this encourages other young professionals to get involved and give back in their own way. When we show up together, our community only gets stronger.”

We could not be more grateful for Alfonso’s generosity, leadership, and belief in this project. It is people like him—alongside the incredible example set by Louise and Gene Rahll—who make Dalhart the special place it is and help turn vision into reality.

Thank you, Alfonso, for investing in our seniors, our community, and our future. 💙
